Job Description:

Tasks, role & responsibilities:

• Definition and implementation of operational concepts and use cases for helicopter avionic systems 

• Requirements engineering

• Ensure planning at equipment and helicopter level for development and qualification

• Manage suppliers during development phase

• Support rig, ground and flight testing of the equipment

• Ensure the qualification / certification of equipment and the according functions

• Interfacing with project management, purchasing & sales department of the different helicopter programs

• Apply of agile development methodology

• This role may involve frequent  travel business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

• Comprehensive experience in the design, development, engineering and/or integration of radar systems, radar based system or optic systems for aircraft

• Knowledge in systems engineering, requirements engineering and integration in the field of avionics

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience in Supplier Management

• Good team spirit, autonomy, engaged

• Very good command of English (business fluent / negotiation level)

• German or French will be an advantage
