Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the validation and debugging of device driver software, ensuring functionality and reliability across various platforms
- Designs and develops validation environments and infrastructure to support comprehensive software testing
- Creates and debugs tests used to verify device drivers
- Develops validation plans, test strategies, and methodologies aligned with product requirements
- Investigates and debugs test failures, performing root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions
- Authors validation procedures and standards, analyzes test results, and ensures compliance with functional specifications
- Continuously assesses and integrates state-of-the-art validation techniques to improve product quality and testing efficiency
- Actively collaborates with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and hardware engineering
- Maintains close cooperation with stakeholders and contractors to align validation goals and timelines
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of testing methodologies like exploratory, acceptance testing and other
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS) and system-level configuration
- Experience working with networking hardware and simulation or traffic generation tools is a plus
- Hands-on skills in Linux systems administration and shell scripting
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, VMware)
- Working experience with Python programming for automation and scripting tasks
- Familiarity with test tools/frameworks such as PyTest or similar
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external contractors
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
