Our team works on the most advanced solutions and future Intel products. Within the team, we have very experienced engineers covering most of the ASIC design and verification topics (from a microarchitecture definition, through design, silicon implementation, formal verification up to an advanced pre-silicon functional validation). Thanks to this, our new joiners can develop their skills in different areas and learn a lot of different methodology aspects.
Our team is split between different locations in Poland. We work based on on-site, hybrid, and fully remote models. Our team makes use of the Gdansk office, as well as a coworking space in Katowice, where everyone can meet other team members, discuss technical problems, brainstorm at a whiteboard, and feel the common goal atmosphere.
This role involves comprehensive engineering tasks related to pre-silicon validation, including verification plan creation, UVM testbench and tests development, coverage definition, and closure. You will work with the latest tools and cutting-edge methodologies powered by AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Verification: Perform functional verification of IP logic to ensure designs meet specification requirements.
- Verification Planning: Develop IP verification plans and UVM verification environments to ensure comprehensive coverage and confirm microarchitecture specifications.
- Execution and Analysis: Execute verification plans, define and run simulation models to verify designs and identify bugs.
- Debugging: Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the pre-silicon environment, implementing corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to enhance verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
- Documentation: Document test plans and lead technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
- Infrastructure Improvements: Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
- Infrastructure Definition: Participate in defining verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.
