Job Description: 

Our Asset Manager and procurement Specialist (Labs):

  • Maintains a comprehensive inventory of lab assets, including equipment, instruments, and consumables.
  • Develops and execute asset lifecycle strategies, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.
  • Tracks utilization of assets across the Site
  • Maintains asset registers and ensure accuracy in asset inventory.
  • Conducts regular audits and inspections to ensure assets meet compliance and operational standards.
  • Maintains records and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.
  • Acts as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding asset-related matters.
  • Ensures asset databases are updated in real-time with purchase details, maintenance logs, and calibration schedules.
  • Manages the disposal or decommissioning of obsolete or underperforming assets.
  • Works closely with the Global Asset Management team, to implement and align processes
  • Cooperates with Lab Support technicians

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration,
  • 2+ years of experience in asset management, lab operations, or a similar role within a high-tech, biotech, or R and D-focused industry
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills for managing multiple lab assets across teams or locations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with vendors, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset to proactively address issues and improve processes.
  • Attention to detail for compliance, documentation, and reporting accuracy.
  • English - High Level
