Job Description:

Client Communications

  • Produce high-quality and timely internal communication content for clients via different executions, from newsletters to events
  • Foster brand loyalty by advocacy by promoting Sun Life’s various achievements and milestones
  • Ensure the content is clear, concise, accurate, and aligned with the company's brand and tone
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to gather input, create relevant campaigns, and ensure alignment and consistency of messages across the organization
  • Stay abreast on best practices and trends in internal communication and employee engagement
  • Gain expertise on understanding our clients’ needs and demands

Transformation

  • Craft or review copy for client tools to ensure that these not only adhere to Sun Life’s brand and tone but also provide clients with a positive and empowering experience 
  • Provide writing services for upcoming transformation projects related to improving client experience
  • Collaborate with various teams such as Distribution, Operations, Transformation, and Marketing to understand the client’s needs, preferences, and feedback, and to align the communication strategy with the business goals and objectives.

Internal Engagement

  • Work closely with the Client Experience team in designing and mounting effective campaigns promoting client-centricity to employees and advisors nationwide
  • Assess data (employee/advisor survey results) and apply insights to communications as appropriate

Reputation

  • Prepare entries to relevant recognition programs for select CX projects
  • In the event of a crisis, collaborate with relevant teams in preparing necessary communications and managing hot alerts to ensure that clients are well-informed until the issue is resolved

Marketing

  • Collaborate with relevant teams within Marketing for campaigns and narratives to align messaging for clients
