The Information Risk Management (IRM) Officer is a 2nd line of defense (2LoD) independent role. It resides in Information & Technology Risk in Non-Financial Risk Domain of Risk Management Division. The NFR Specialist (IRM Officer) is an expert in Information Risk and Business Continuity Management and shall provide expertise review, challenge and advice to the various ING sourcing entities.

Specifically, you shall act as the ff.

• 2nd line IT Risk and BCM expert for ING sourcing entities
• Provide expertise advice to ING service recipient on but not limited to External/Internal events, Risk identification & Assessment, Risk Mitigation & Tracking, Risk Reporting and Consultation.
• Perform regular spot-check review and challenge of IT & BCM controls and ensure monitoring of IT/BCM related issue.
• Participate in Global IT risk initiatives through close coordination and collaboration with Corporate Information Risk Management and other IRM colleagues.

Other information risk or business continuity management related activities might be provided by the IRM team to other ING entities. This will assist ING business units as well as with Information & Technology Risk (I&TR) to manage the IT or Continuity Risk profiles of ING Bank in a sound manner.
