Job Description:

Job description:  The position will handle the following: 

•    Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) tasks such as regular scanning of authoritative resources for regulatory issuance, updates and developments, reviewing and assessing the key regulatory requirements, summarizing, and cascading of such updates and developments to the affected departments and reporting to the RCM head and to the rest of the team•    Assisting the RCM Team in building the regulatory inventory and other information needed as aligned with Sun Life's Enterprise RCM Framework, ensuring data quality and consistency in the mapping of the data obtained and maintained in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology tool•    Assist the RCM Team in administrative and internal reporting requirements as needed

Preferred skills

•    With basic knowledge on regulations from Sun Life Philippines’ key regulators such as but not limited to Insurance Commission (IC), National Privacy Commission (NPC), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)•    With experience on Compliance, Audit or Risk work is highly preferred•    With experience in data mapping or business analysis is preferred•    With experience working with a financial organization is preferred•    Can write and speak English fluently

Qualifications

•    One or two years related experience on Compliance, Risk, Audit work is preferred

•    One or two years related experience in data mapping, business analysis from a financial organization can be considered

•    Can consider fresh graduates with basic knowledge of the regulations (e.g., law/pre-law graduate)•    A self-starter with good work ethics

Responsibilities 

•    Daily horizon scanning of the regulators' authoritative sources (e.g. websites, official gazettes etc..) for any changes in the regulatory requirements and developments impacting Sun Life Philippines •    Reviewing the new regulatory issuances and identifying the key requirements•    Timely cascading of the new regulatory issuances to the identified impacted departments •    Updating of Sun Life PH's regulatory inventory (Book of Records) and ensuring that the data uploaded in the SLPH GRC technology tool is updated and are following the Sun Life Enterprise RCM Guidelines on Regulatory Change Management •    Mapping the regulatory requirements from the new issuances to the SL PH taxonomy/groupings and identify areas of improvement in the standardization of data input•    Assist the RCM Team in the preparation of materials for committee meetings and management reports •    Handling of quarterly regulatory attestation of all departments of Sun Life PH
