We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Power BI, Snowflake, and Matillion Administrator. This role plays a critical part in supporting our data infrastructure by overseeing business intelligence tools, managing cloud data environments, and maintaining robust ETL processes. The ideal candidate will help drive data accessibility and quality, enabling stakeholders across the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Administration:

Manage and maintain the Power BI environment, including workspace administration, user permissions, data source configurations, and gateway management.

Oversee and optimize the Snowflake data warehouse infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Administer and monitor Matillion ETL pipelines, ensuring reliable and timely data integration and transformation.

Performance Optimization & Monitoring:

Monitor system performance and usage trends across BI and data platforms, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization for ETL jobs and SQL queries.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and enforce data access policies, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and data governance requirements.

Collaborate with the security team to manage user roles, data masking, and secure data sharing practices.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data initiatives and reporting requirements.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to Power BI, Snowflake, and Matillion.

Documentation & Best Practices:

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, ETL flow documentation, and admin guides.

Promote and enforce best practices in data architecture, ETL development, and BI reporting.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Matillion ETL and Snowflake data warehouse administration.

5+ years of experience in ETL development and support, preferably within cloud-based data platforms.

Technical Proficiency:

Solid understanding of data integration patterns, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration.

Proficient in troubleshooting ETL failures and data quality issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Strong knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning techniques.

Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments with tools like Jira, Git, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools is a plus.
