Team / division overview

The DWS Transfer Pricing Operations team ensures all intercompany transactions are correctly accounted for to provide a golden source of financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. For this role, you will be leading the team in performing validation and control function as well as Fee calculation, Booking, Invoicing and settlement, Management review process (MRP), Management reporting, including support for audit, ad hoc reports and requests. Additionally, you will resolve operational issues and concerns, manage the stakeholder engagements and expectations, lead and support delivery of project requirements, as well as managing the career and development of the team. You will also support the Asset Management business. It is critical in ensuring that the sub-ledger systems and subsequent reporting platforms are accurate, complete, and timely released through performance of reasonableness check, trending analysis, exception management and understanding of control environment. Your responsibilities

As our Transfer Pricing Operations Finance Manager:

Your key responsibilities

  • Handle, resolve operational issues and concerns, and manage expectations of stakeholders
  • Manage career and development of the team
  • Perform and review finance and accounting processes specifically on Transfer Pricing (TP) including but not limited to Fee calculation, Booking, Invoicing and settlement.
  • Handle analysis, commentaries, investigations required for the Management Review Process (MRP) and Flash process.
  • Handle Management reporting process and other ad-hoc reporting requirements
  • Provide support for internal and external audit requests
  • Support delivery of Project requirements
  • Partner with peers to ensure all deadlines are met within acceptable timelines

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or Finance-related equivalents with Accounting courses
  • Experience in financial and management reporting or analysis of financial data gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
  • Proven analytical/ situational and sound decision making/ problem-solving skills
  • A team player who is collaborative and organized yet able to work independently
  • Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Proven leadership skills and people management
  • Strong control foundation
