Job Overview:
The Market & Financial Risk Reporting circle within COOR/Global Risk Services is looking
for a financial risk specialist for Limits Management, who is responsible to ensure timely processing of approved limits and review dates in the Global Risk Systems. Limit processing is the last step in the limit approval process. Limit requests come from a variety of stakeholders in different Risk areas, such as Counterparty, Corporate, Intercompany, Country and Issuer Risk Management.
The successful candidate has strong time management skills, performs well in a fast-paced
and dynamic environment and has a proven track record in managing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
To serve our stakeholders in the best possible way building and maintaining a knowledge base – the corner stone of our self-service concept – is part of our duties. You work with colleagues from inside and outside the team to provide pro-active, end-to-end support for the users of both Front Office and Risk. As part of our workflow, we aim to reuse, improve, and – if it does not exist – create knowledge and make it available to the entire user community. This results in more operational efficiency, self-service and improves our products and services.
As part of the Limits Management, the main responsibilities and duties are the following but are not limited to:
• Provide hands-on support and advise to our user community in case of questions.
• Look for trends and patterns in requests and suggest improvements and changes.
• Analyze incoming requests and process limits within the agreed timelines.
• Process evidence of limit approval in Library.
• Create end user knowledge assets in the form of FAQs, manuals, instructions, etc.
You will need to have affinity with data and be familiar with the fundamental concept of financial risk management.
