Process all accounting-related activities, including invoices, travel and expenses (incl. corporate cards).
Check, allocate accounts, post invoices, and prepare payment and travel runs.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks, such as preparing postings and creating balance statements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Tax, HR, Financial Account & Controls, IT).
Serve as the contact person for day-to-day operations, handling returns, special cases, and technical questions.
Provide technical support to the Payments specialist in creating concepts and implementing system requirements due to regulatory changes.
Support operational process evaluations and implement efficiencies by leveraging knowledge from day-to-day business and testing implementations in the test system.
Edit guidelines, work instructions, and process documentation to minimize internal and external control risks.
Represent and support the Expertise Lead Request2Pay and the Specialist in Payments on technical issues, creating presentations, evaluations, or decision templates.
Completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or a completed commercial training with subject-specific additional qualifications.
At least 2 years of professional experience in accounts payable (ideally in a bank).
Well-founded standard IT knowledge and experience with subject-specific software (SAP).
B.1 Level of German language proficiency (preferable).
C.1 Level of English language proficiency.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
