About the Role

The Proposition Partnerships Principal is a dedicated, partner focused role, that supports AIA PH’s Propositions Team in defining, identifying, onboarding and managing partners that comprise AIA Philippines’ proposition ecosystem, which includes AIA Vitality, and value added services offered to select customers and/or with select products Responsibilities will include engagement, negotiations, contracting, technical integration, marketing integration, operational integration, on-going maintenance, relationship management and financial reconciliation. In addition to these elements, during the programme’s implementation phase, incumbent is accountable for maintenance of the partner workbook that tracks the work-stream’s status.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Takes the lead in creating best-in-class partnerships to deliver key strategies and derive optimum value for both customers and business.

  • Manages end-to-end on-boarding process for new partnerships--from market insighting, sourcing, selection, negotiation, contracting and integration.

  • Delivers a powerful partnership ecosystem to ensure compelling propositions across all categories: health, long term savings, wellness programs, customer value propositions.

  • Creates a powerful brand synergy with partners through cross-marketing initiatives, in consultation with AIA Brand Marketing and Customer Engagement teams:

- cross-promotion in applicable assets

- partner-based member engagement initiatives

  • Cultivates good relations year-round to ensure a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.

  • Leads regular business reviews to assess and maintain viability of partnerships and finds opportunities to maximize mutual partnership value.

  • Regularly collaborates with various AIA Group stakeholders (Group healthcare, Group Vitality, Group Propositions) to leverage on regional partnerships and deals.

  • Performs market scanning and insighting to identify latest trends and opportunities to innovate and better engage customers through compelling partnerships and ecosystem.

  • Participates in customer research to gain insight on their needs and preferences to aid in selection of new services.

  • Supports in partner migration from one platform to another, as the case may be.

  • Regularly monitors various platforms to ensure any partner related content is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Analyzes partner and engagement data for AIA Vitality and provides meaningful insights to aid management in key strategic planning and decision-making exercises.

  • Establish a sound and automated financial reconciliation process to ensure accurate and timely settlement of payment obligation to partners.

  • Establish stringent control measures to mitigate financial losses and fraud. Consistently derive significant cost savings for the business in terms of:

- negotiating for best commercials from partners (e.g., pass-through arrangements)

- negotiating for sponsorship of free concessions from partners (used for engagement initiatives)

- negotiating for volume discounts from partners

- identifying partner overbilling

  • Manages master database of partner data revenue and member utilization.

  • Ensures adherence to risk and compliance standards through data accuracy, process documentation, transparency and adherence to established guidelines.

  • Manages AIA Vitality budget for partner -related expenses.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education – Graduate of any business course (Business Administration, Management, Economics, Marketing)
  • Experience – An experienced Partnership/Business Development professional, who has built their credentials and developed a solid track record with one or more reputable retail, financial services multinationals in the banking, insurance, consumer finance or credit card sectors
  • Certifications/licenses – MBA an advantage
  • Special skills - Strategic thinking, Excellent analytical skills, Strong leadership, Skills, Communication skills (English and Filipino), Presentation skills, Relationship Management skills, Campaigns/Events management, People Management skills, Resource Management skills, Customer Orientation, Creativity, In-depth knowledge on use of Microsoft Office and Problem-solving Skills; advantage to have knowledge in platforms like Tableau, Cognos, ODS
