Reporting to the Media Hub Director, the Media Analyst is responsible for producing high-quality insights from data and trends and turning these into actionable steps and recommendations for our Global Wealth and Asset Management and Insurance media team across APAC. We expect you to provide both quantitative and qualitative research that provides rich and meaningful insights into media performance across various platforms, competitor activity, consumer insights etc. You will lead a number of different analysis initiatives and ensure quality deliverables that suit our business needs. For this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the key digital media and web analytics tools such as Google Marketing Platform, Meta, Google Ads, web analytics, and Business Intelligence visualization tools. Based on your extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant media metrics you will be able to cut through the clutter and provide insights that are relevant to the issues at hand.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably with a B2B background.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude (i.e., use of software tools, coding experience, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of database management and SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with digital media and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Media Platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Meta, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Experience with digital marketing campaign analysis.
  • Understand the nuances between the different channels and media platforms to ask the right questions.
  • Experience in investment / asset management would be highly beneficial.

On the job you will:

  • Work with senior stakeholders to study vast datasets across multiple sources, identify the patterns and trends, present insights and make recommendations to support the media team on key business decisions.
  • Develop knowledge of the various media and analytics tools and platforms to be able to extract relevant data for a business problem at hand or required analysis.
  • Conduct frequent competitor analysis across multiple media platforms to understand competitor activity and provide recommendations to the media team based on these findings.
  • Work closely with the media teams to ensure that all the deliverables and tasks are of the highest quality and are well within the set deadlines.
  • Proactively identify and lead analysis initiatives and projects that are relevant to the business needs
