Job Description

Responsible for delivering superior customer service to clients and financial advisors and building customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customer requests range from basic product and contract inquiries to more complex transactions and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver reliable, professional, and trustworthy service to Manulife clients, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Consistently meet quality standards to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Achieve productivity targets to enhance team service levels.
  • Provide prompt and effective resolutions to a variety of customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude with both customers and colleagues.
  • Aim to resolve customer issues on the first call whenever possible.
  • Transform challenging scenarios into positive service experiences.
  • Enhance Manulife's reputation in the marketplace.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment while independently resolving issues accurately.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and policy changes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of post-secondary education or possession of a high school diploma.
  • Experience in customer service or financial services is advantageous.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Adaptability and success in a fast-paced, rapidly changing call center environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Effective listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.
  • Strong business writing skills.
