The opportunity
The Finance Officer will be mainly responsible for accounting and management, tax and audit reporting. He/she is responsible for ensuring that all financial records are maintained according to prescribed company policies and procedures and in conformity with regulatory requirements and accounting standards and internal controls of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely processing of bank fund transfer and payment instructions
- Responsible for the monitoring of cash balances of various bank accounts
- Responsible for handling treasury documentary requirements, bank arrangements, online banking enrollment, etc.
- Responsible for the preparation of management, tax and audit reporting requirements
- Preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, accounting schedules and supporting month-end and quarter-end close process
- Assist in variance analysis and management enquiries related to accounting information
- Ensures that all financial records are maintained according to prescribed company policies and procedures and in conformity with regulatory requirements and accounting standards and internal controls of the Company
- Support the Head of Finance in ensuring that all tasks related to MIMPH Finance are performed according to set standards, that internal controls are in place and relevant policies and procedures are documented and adhered to
- Perform other duties and work assignments and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks as per assigned deadlines

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, preferably CPA or CMA
- With more than 3 years of experience in Finance or Audit
- Highly analytical and with strong problem solving skills and detail oriented
- Encourage and drive changes within a highly dynamic, fluid environment.
- Comfortable in challenging traditional processes to strive for efficiencies.
- Ability to cross leverage skills among the teams around him/her and work collectively to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Good team player with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple levels.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
