In Finance, you will have the opportunity to grow your career in different functional groups such as Accounts Payable, Midstream Accounting, Bank, Revenue and Retail, Credits and Receivables, Intercompany, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Upstream Accounting and Business Analysis and Support.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the Senor Finance Analyst position.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will:

  • Provide business decision support (e.g. financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting), and core finance and accounting services (including month end close process and reconciliation activities)
  • Deliver accurate and timely financials and effective control performance
  • Collaborate with different teams internally within Finance, across multi-functional teams and with external stakeholders to deliver value to the company
  • Enable process improvement opportunities and projects by understanding the end-to-end processes, interpreting data, and bringing insights and ideas forward
  • Support building organizational capability by sharing your knowledge and expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or management accounting
  • Minimum of five (5) years overall work experience in finance, accounting or auditing
  • Good english oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP/JDE is an advantage
  • Professional certifications like Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant are highly valued

Other requirements:

  • Open to work in shifts required to adequately support the business requirements (i.e. morning, mid or night)
