Job Overview:
The Market & Financial Risk Reporting circle within COOR/Global Risk Services is looking
for a financial risk specialist for Violations Management, who is responsible to ensure timely processing of limit violations on financial market deals in the Global Risk Systems. These violations need to be investigated and explained by relevant front office staff and risk management.
You will need to understand and be familiar with the concept of financial markets products and limits in use within ING. Furthermore, you need knowledge and understanding of concepts such as netting, collateralization, risk measurement, and knowledge of front office and risk infrastructure and systems.
The successful candidate has strong time management skills, performs well in a fast-paced
and dynamic environment and has a proven track record in managing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
To serve our stakeholders in the best possible way building and maintaining a knowledge base – the corner stone of our self-service concept – is part of our duties. You work with colleagues from inside and outside the team to provide pro-active, end-to-end support for the users of both Front Office and Risk. You’ll be responsible for the service ownership role which will focus on the end-to-end migration of work/tasks to be transferred from Amsterdam to Manila. As a service owner for Limits & Violation Mgt. Teams, you are someone who has strong stakeholder management skills, meaning you should be able to:
1. Earn primary relationship with (senior) credit risk stakeholders;
2. Develop strategy on future reporting services;
3. Being flexible in taking care of stakeholder demand that go beyond existing (WPI) agreements, and
4. Proactive in approaching stakeholders with the goal to improve service delivery, or to implement efficiency gains.
As part of our workflow, we aim to reuse, improve, and – if it does not exist – create knowledge and make it available to the entire user community. This results in more operational efficiency, self-service and improves our products and services.
