People Security Specialist

Job Description

As a People Security Specialist, you will be responsible for service delivery in the Travel Security program and support the development of new people security solutions or programs.

Your role: 

  • You will play a key role in safeguarding our staff and enabling Philips commercial activities in countries with heightened security risks.
  • You will be part of the People Security CoE operations and will report to Senior Manager of People Security.
  • As part of the People Security Operations responsibilities, you will deliver and enhance security services for Philips in high-risk areas, including developing new solutions and implementing them globally and review and create security policies, standards, and work instruction
  • As part of Stakeholder & Supplier Management of People Security responsibilities you will Integrate security into Philips' processes and tools, standardize supplier services and products and evaluate and rescope supplier services for quality and value.

You're the right fit if:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant experience in security or any affiliated field
  • Additional relevant certifications will be considered as a plus
  • You have 3+ years of experience in security operations activities within a global major organization
  • Experience with collaborating with multiple stakeholders across multiple geographies, markets and department
  • Experience with delivering security services and in particular managing travel security cases
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with ability to influence stakeholders and convey the value of security
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent planning, organizational and written documenting skills
  • Fluent level of English (written and spoken).

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office role.
