Job Opportunity: Proposal Writer for IT Solutions (Flexible Background Welcome)

Are you experienced in writing technical documents or proposals within the IT sector, but don’t have direct Proposal Management experience? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the creation of compelling proposals for the IT sector, particularly in complex IT solutions, applications, analytics, and infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally experience in technical writing within IT or related fields, where you’ve developed documents such as project proposals, reports, or other technical content.
Other roles within IT such as IT Architect, Project Manager, Developer with a focus on applications, analytics, infrastructure, with the ability to effectively convey how these technologies impact businesses can also make a successful candidate.
Experience with the public sector and familiarity with the public procurement process would be beneficial.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, even outside of normal working hours to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, particularly in writing, and fluency in Dutch (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in English is also required, and knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
Educational requirements: A first-level university degree is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Be responsible for the Client Proposal, understanding and representing the business context, to persuasively describe DXC offering, messaging, solutions, differentiators and win themes and to support the definition of strategy with the pursuit team (typically sales lead, solution leads and SMEs).
Analyze RFx/bid requirements and tailor the proposal blueprint to ensure both compliance and responsiveness so that customer’s evaluation criteria is met. Identify pre-written content relevant to client-specific requirements; Integrate the content written by Subject Matter Experts re-writing or personally creating ensuring messaging and win themes are followed to achieve "One Voice“
Own and oversee the proposal development process from initial proposal content creation, design and production of graphics, quality reviews and production. Ensure Proposal Management best practices are followed and deliver completed written proposal responses against deadlines, escalating issues as required.
Be involved in the end to end proposal generation, including resolution and escalation of development issues, interacting with internal SME and partners for final documents generation.
Work cooperatively with the pursuit team contributors with ownership of content ensuring all relevant internal and external key stakeholders provide specific content or knowledge. Develop a writing style and language usage to appeal to the client’s own values and culture. Lead the production team to produce, quality check and deliver the final documents
