The tribe consists of almost 450 FTEs divided over 8 areas, including the ING Branches that provide our customers throughout the Netherlands with financial advice and assistance with their daily banking needs. The product area’s work closely with our IT departments to deliver digital products that meet the needs of our customers.

As the Tribe Lead for Daily Banking & Mobile Led, you will drive the strategic vision, development, and delivery of all our daily banking products. You will lead a cross-functional team of product area leads, product leads, customer journey experts, and sales teams in our branches to create and enhance products that meet our customers' needs. The goal is to achieve an optimal experience for ING's customers.

Roles and responsibilities:

Translating ING’s mission, vision, and strategy into the mission, vision, and strategy for the business unit Daily Banking and mobile led and ensure that the Product Area’s, ING Branches and Service Points support ING's strategic objectives.
Leading teams with a common purpose across various Area’s in the Tribe Daily Banking & Mobile Led and cross-domains delivering products and services to Business Banking and partly Wholesale Banking.
You will proactively anticipate dependencies and collaboration across the entire organization and with the parties that need to contribute to the digital transformation agenda of the bank.
Participating in and supporting vision and strategy development and decision-making for the domain Private Individuals in collaboration with the head of Private Individuals and other business units within our Retail domain.
Ensuring that the tribe is at par or above regarding Risk and Compliance.
Strengthening the “ING way of working” while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model. As a leaders, you balance autonomy in your team with concrete and clear guidelines.

What you bring:

Masters's degree in Business, Finance, Sales or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry.
At least 10 years of banking experience, including commercial experience.
Strong commercial focus and you have the analytical skills to identify relevant opportunities and take data driven decisions
Strong understanding of product management, agile methodologies, and customer centric design.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to adapt your approach and behavior to meet the diverse needs and situations of your teams.
You are fluent in English, both in writing and speech
