Finance Supervisor

UPS Healthcare

The Finance Supervisor at UPS is responsible for providing critical international financial information to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves managing a team of finance specialists to analyze financial data from multiple countries across Western Europe, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of insights used by senior leaders. The Finance Supervisor prepares reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings, trends, and recommendations, while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders within the UPS network. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of finance specialists to collect and analyze financial data from approximately seven countries in the Western Europe region.
• Research and interpret financial data, preparing comprehensive reports that help UPS management make informed business decisions.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies through data analysis to support hypothesis testing and project evaluations.
• Develop and present presentations that summarize analytical findings, implications, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date financial knowledge, staying informed about best practices and trends in finance.
• Collaborate and communicate with various teams across regions and offices to ensure alignment and sharing of insights within the UPS network. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and presentation purposes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks for oneself and the team.
• Attention to detail and a proven ability to draw accurate conclusions from financial data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a warm personality that fosters strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Inquisitive nature with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.
• Fluency in English is required.
