Your Challenge:

Philips Avent is a leading global brand in Mother & Child Care. As Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you’ll enjoy a blend of strategy development and hands-on execution in an international business environment. You will take consumer insights, needs, and innovation ideas from concept to product development and market launch, while driving impactful consumer experience and marketing activation in partnership local markets worldwide.

You’ll be an integral part of the Philips Avent Mother & Child Care + Women’s Health team.

As a senior professional, you’ll also mentor junior marketers, supporting their personal development. You’ll work in close collaboration with stakeholders across both the Netherlands, North America, Europe and Emerging Markets

Your role:

As the Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy for our leading Comforting portfolio around the globe ensuring maximum value creation of our current franchise and identifying future business opportunities to help Philips Avent achieve #1 Baby Brand market position worldwide. Your role will involve driving the definition, development, and introduction of the strategy; leading a cross functional team to deliver the propositions, solutions and superior presence in market to support parents in fostering the healthy development of their children while delivering business growth.

Using in-depth market, consumer, and shopper insights, as well as competitive analyses, you will:

  • Lead the growth of Philips Avent’s Comforting global business.

  • Own the development of the strategic and tactical innovation roadmap, delivering new products and designs for existing propositions including conducting deep consumer research to create insights, write winning concepts and validate global business cases with quantitative testing.

  • Brief the Marketing Communications team to deliver superior Desire, Explore and Convert communications under the Share the Care Brand Positioning to speed the marketing flywheel.

  • Leverage the Marketing Centers of Excellence and Sales Centers of Excellence to partner with Regional teams for best in class go to market models and plans.

  • Inspire and collaborate with commercial teams worldwide to create and execute local marketing strategies.

  • Work cross-functionally with various departments, including Professional Marketing, R&D, Consumer Insights, Clinical & Regulatory, Operations, Sales, Legal, Design and external suppliers.

You're the right fit if:

  • 10+ years of experience in Brand Management, particularly with consumer products and life cycle management.

  • Leadership of direct reports and proven ability to mobilize diverse cross functional team members and manage external stakeholders effectively.

  • Proven track record of creating value and unlocking growth opportunities in FMCG/CPG or Fem Tech.

  • Experience in Value Proposition creation: mining for insights, creating winning concepts, validating business cases, and best in class product launches.

  • Exposure to key customers and channels like Pure Play (Amazon, Temu), Mass (Target), Drug/Pharma (DM, Boots, CVS) and pulse on the changing Retail landscape (i.e. Quick Commerce)

  • Focus on data-driven decision making balanced with speed and external orientation.

  • Self-starting growth mindset with a "can-do" attitude.

  • Ability to see the big picture while keeping track of key details.

  • High sense of ownership and responsibility, always seeking creative solutions.
