Job Description

Senior Supplier Quality ManagerIn this role you guide and support the Markets for Health Systems and enabling functions to always do the right thing. This involves being a confident advisor on quality improvement/tools, regulatory compliance and quality management related topics, in order to achieve timely releases of innovative products that deliver high quality and outstanding reliability to enhance the Philips brand and ensure customer satisfaction.

Your role:

  • Develops purchasing control processes, procedures & systems in compliance with applicable regulations. Sets/updates purchasing control requirements to suppliers, classification of suppliers, and risk categorization.

  • Ensure integration and validation of purchasing procedures with supporting IT and data applications for effective operationalization

  • Actively monitors supplier quality metrics and quality of supplier record and drives supplier quality management review with relevant stakeholders. Leads/Participates in multidisciplinary change projects in Supplier Quality.

  • Supporting and defending Philips in external and internal inspections/audits, and supporting the closure of regulatory compliance gaps

  • Drives compliance with applicable Quality Management Systems; engaging in Corrective Actions as needed (CAPA/ QTP)

  • SPOC for the BU, part of the Management Review

  • Supplier Quality Subject Matter Expert

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably and minimum of 6 years working experience in Supplier Quality Assurance of which a couple in medical device industry is required (experienced in international regulatory standards like MDR, FDA).

  • Project management skills in a large international organization is required.

  • Experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.

  • Proven auditing skills, experience with auditing suppliers and performing root cause analysis.

  • Experience with quality systems, quality tools and methodologies required (Critical to Quality, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto, CAPA, 5 Why).

  • Strong communicator with good influencing skills.

  • Comfortable being an individual contributor.

  • Less than 25% travel globally

For this vacancy it's required you are already residing in the Netherlands, because there is no budget available for relocation.
