PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transfer Pricing Report & Documentation
Overseeing ad-hoc transfer pricing
Preparation/review of transfer pricing analysis and reports.
Provide transfer pricing advice and recommendation to businesses and management.
Monitor changes on Malaysian transfer pricing legislation and guidelines, to assess
potential impact and effectively respond to tax changes.
Liaising with tax agents to complete transfer pricing report before due date.
Corporate Tax
Facilitate and manage the preparation of corporate tax computation by compiling and providing necessary information to tax agent for review and finalization of corporate tax return.
Review, check and validate the tax computation prepared by tax agent and ensure accurate and timely filing of the tax return.
Preparation and submission of under/over tax provision adjustments after the submission of corporate tax return.
To arrange for submission of CP204 and CP204A (9th month) and ensure the estimated tax payable is within the range to avoid any penalty for under/over-estimation.
Work closely with business to establish tax efficient process and leverage opportunities to deliver tax savings; and
Involve in any tax audits/compliance audits/internal audits and respond to the audit queries and in case of tax audits, manage preparation of required documents to address tax audit queries from tax authorities.
Support local reporting with monthly tax provision, auditor’s request on corporate tax status, tax status for group reporting.
Provide advisory for all withholding tax related matters.
Review tax clauses & provide advice to relevant businesses on the withholding tax treatment; and
Review and ensure timely submission of withholding tax to tax authorities to avoid any late payment penalty.
Other ad-hoc activities deemed necessary to support finance tax functions
As and when required, the candidate may be required to provide support to other functions. Such requests would be initially assessed for its appropriateness by the management and would be of a nature such that no unreasonable demands are made of the candidate, and with expectations that is reasonable given the circumstances.

External - Tax Consultants, Tax Regulators, Regional Office’s representatives, Bank Negara Malaysia’s representatives, External auditors
JOB SPECIFICATION:
8 years and above of working experience in Tax or Finance Reporting.
Accounting professional qualification e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CTIM etc.
Have the knowledge of the relevant Tax Laws in Malaysia.
Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills: proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.
Able to work independently.
