Functional (job responsibilities)
- Achieve allocated Auto Loan team sales target;
- Closely monitor team sales productivity and performance;
- Conduct training for the team on product, policy or market strategy change;
- Join team members on their sales call / dealer marketing to provide on-the-job training;
- Identify and assign good dealer coverage plan for quality sourcing and healthy portfolio to the team;
- Support team members in term of credit assessment, mitigation and recommendation of approval for cases required support from Team Lead level;
- Assist Auto Loan Centre Manager in developing tactical sales and marketing strategies, identify new business opportunities, setting team goals in order to achieve sales target;
- Acquire new business, strengthen relationships with new and existing car dealers via active participation in dealers’ sales and promotional campaigns / vehicle launches;
- Responsible for empanelment of New / Used and Unregistered Recond dealers in the market;
- Conduct virtual meetings with car dealers;
- Ensure team members comply with the business policies, practices and regulations;
- Ensure all team related administrative functions including periodic appraisal, training and staff development are competently performed;
- Additional responsibility of running with ad hoc projects / tasks assigned.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve their respective individual KRA targets;
- Continuously provide coaching, guidance and training to team members for improvement;
- Stand as a relief for Auto Loan Centre Manager.
Organizational (organizational responsibilities)
- Represent Hong Leong Bank in the community:
- Establish confident relationships with stakeholders;
- Cross-sell efforts to provide referrals and leads for Hong Leong Group of companies;
- Adhere to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in complying with audit, compliance and regulatory guidelines;
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Education/Qualification
- Minimum a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in relevant field;
- Possess licenses such as PCE (General) / PCE (Life) and TBE (Takaful);
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience
- Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience in Banking especially in marketing Auto Loan business with proven track record in sales.
Special Skills
- Auto Loan sales, credit assessment, strong sales drive, outgoing personality, aggressive and result-oriented;
- Possess strong adaptability and execution skills.
