Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

What are you accountable for:

  • Coordinating and producing the proposal response (to RFI, ITT, RFP etc.) by assembling and leading a cross functional bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process.
  • Managing inputs from various stakeholders such as sales, pre-sales, product, finance, commercial, legal, and service delivery and operations, in order to develop an integrated, high quality and compelling proposal.
  • Following all bid procedures, risk assessment, governance processes, and aligning value proposition / strategy development, solution development, and commercial considerations.
  • Risk tracking and mitigation throughout the bid preparation process.
  • Ensuring timely submission of compliant, accurate and complete proposal.
  • Supporting Sales in technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and providing bid clarifications as needed.

What do you need to have for this role:

  • Degree in Business/IT or relevant Engineering field with > 3 years' experience in Bid Management preferably in the IT/Telco fields.
  • Strategic mindset with a sharp business acumen and with good financial and business knowledge
  • Project management skills to manage stakeholders, complex tasks and deadlines. Good attention to details.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of B2B telco technologies and products, such as Fixed services, Cloud technologies, IoT, UC&C
  • Sales or Pre-sales experience in requirement gathering, solution design and proposals are bonus.
