JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
Product Strategy: Develop and execute long-term strategies to enhance portal’s user experience, content delivery, and engagement metrics.
Product Development: Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of new platform features to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Digital Product Growth: Drive digital growth across multiple channels, including website, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube, to boost traffic and engagement.
Digital ADEX Performance: Optimize ads revenue streams by leveraging data to enhance ads placements, improve fill rates, refine targeting strategies, and explore innovative ad formats.
Content Performance: Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and development teams to ensure content and platform features align with audience interests and business objectives.
Digital Monetization: Collaborate with sales teams to seamlessly integrate ad products and maximize monetization opportunities of our brands.
Data Analytics: Utilize audience insights and analytics to inform product decisions, focusing on key metrics such as engagement, retention, and content performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Who you are:
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing web/app products and digital related projects with prior experience in News/Entertainment/Media or related industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments with a proactive mindset.
Passionate and well-versed in celebrity news, trends, and pop culture within the Malay media landscape.
Strong familiarity with leading Malay-centric media like Gempak, Siakap Keli, Rasa, Mingguan Wanita, Nona, and Remaja.
Deep understanding of audience preferences and digital trends to craft impactful content strategies.
Skilled in creating engaging lifestyle content tailored for the Malay-speaking audience.
Web/app owner with expertise in managing and optimizing digital platforms like Gempak, Awani, and Xuan.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
Proficient in traffic analytics, SEO, and digital marketing, with actionable insights for growth.
Experience with CMS platforms, content workflows, and UI/UX best practices.
Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, SimilarWeb, etc.).
Familiar with CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress, Strapi, Kentico, etc.), content workflows, and Ul/UX best practices
Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopity, WooCommerce, etc.).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve challenges efficiently.
Skilled in identifying where, how, and what to propose for strategic growth in products and performance for clients.
Product management experience with a background in social digital platforms, driving growth in followers, engagement, views, and watch time
