JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is principally to operate within the Linear Operations Media Management Team dedicated to Astro’s Linear platform. The person will be entrusted to execute workflows defined within the department’s SOPs to the Linear channels platform according to the priority set by the team leader (Senior Associate) or by the manager (Assistant Vice President) or by the Head (Senior Assistant Vice President).

The responsibility includes:

1. Responsible to work with internal channel BU for new program request that going on air

2. Responsible to send production work order for media files processing, subtitle processing & images/posters creation.

3. Responsible to send production recording work order for live feed recording

4. To work with channel BU & external content provider on the media files delivery timeline

5. To work on weekends and public holidays for any urgent/last minute request on the media files processing

6. Proficient in computers and must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment where required.

7. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adapting to changes is frequent and making well informed decisions is a must.

8. Any other task assigned that is in-line with the department’s objectives.

9. Assist SA in all aspects of work within the department/division

Requirements:

Fresh graduates from Diploma/Degree of Mass Communication.

1 to 2 years of experience in the broadcast/ media/ entertainment/ telecommunication or related sectors.

Candidate with understanding of content and media industries and broadcasting technology is preferable.
