Job Description:

Where do you fit in?

As an Associate Engineer CMMS, you will leverage your specialized understanding of technical support and systems to engage with related areas. You will support system set-ups and changes based on provided information and assist in analyzing data.

Your responsibilities will include handling more complex tasks with moderate variation, addressing less straightforward questions, and adjusting based on diverse information sources from within and outside the supported business. You will work within a limited range of well-defined procedures and practices, under the supervision of a manager who monitors progress and results. While working autonomously within this defined scope, you will directly support management and specialists and guide internal stakeholders using basic data analysis

What’s the role? 

  • Support CMMS Build & Assurance: Execute and support CMMS activities across various projects, ensuring accurate data transition from project to operations and maintenance.
  • Quality Asset Data Delivery: Ensure quality asset data delivery for smooth business transition, collaborating closely with TAO units.
  • Strategy & Plan Development: Develop and support strategies and plans for CMMS projects with business and project managers.
  • Technical Data Analysis: Analyze technical data and documents by working with engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of CMMS build processes and team objectives.
  • Project Support: Identify benefits in CMMS project delivery with project managers and stakeholders.
  • SME Support: Provide Subject Matter Expert support for detailed CMMS build activities, including safety-critical elements and maintenance strategies.
  • Dashboard & Issue Management: Support project dashboard creation and resolve P2A CMMS project delivery issues.
  • Data Interpretation: Provide expertise in interpreting asset data from engineering documents and drawings.
  • Liaison with CP Data: Integrate with CP Data organization for BOM and Material Master requirements.
  • Networking: Network with counterparts across capital projects.
  • Standardization: Work with managers and specialists to standardize CMMS build processes, tools, and methods.
  • Learnings & Best Practices: Capture and update learnings and best practices in the learnings database

What do we need from you?

  • University Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 2 to 3+ years of operational experience in engineering/technical roles, preferably in Plant Maintenance within a Manufacturing or Upstream environment.
  • Experience with CMMS, wIMS, and EDMS as an engineering user.
  • Expertise in Technical Data and Documents management.
  • Skills in SAP PM Master data objects and planning/transactional data objects.
  • Understanding of PM Data standards and industry standards like ISO14224.
  • Experience in data conversion phases (extraction, transformation, load) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings (PFS, PEFS, SLDs).
  • Preferred competencies in PowerBI visualization, Data Modelling, and SQL.
  • Mass Data Tool proficiencies are an added advantage.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity, detail, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility, adaptability to change, and demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in Plant maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering, or Power Plant industries.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project).
