JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS A Head, Revenue Management (Indonesia Market)

The Revenue Management Head is responsible for driving the revenue optimization strategy of the organization by developing, implementing, and managing pricing, inventory, and sales strategies. This role works closely with various departments to ensure revenue targets are met and market opportunities are maximized.

This role will utilize data analysis, market trends, and customer insights to create actionable strategies that drive profitability while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

Revenue Strategy Development:

  • Lead your team to develop, implement, and refine revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all revenue streams

  • Create and maintain pricing strategies based on market demand, competition, and seasonality

  • Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies to stay competitive in the marketplace

  • Analyze customer segmentation and demand patterns to optimize pricing and inventory decisions

  • Monitor and analyze revenue performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to achieve financial goals

  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) to make dynamic pricing decisions based on real-time data

  • Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of pricing changes across all sales channels

Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Prepare and manage accurate revenue forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market conditions

  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue reports to senior leadership, including variance analysis, trends, and performance updates

  • Assess historical data to predict future demand and assist in decision-making regarding inventory and pricing 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and network teams to ensure alignment between revenue management strategies and business objectives

  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams, including input on promotions, special offers, and pricing adjustments

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure revenue targets are met and to provide data for the profitability process.

  • Foster a collaborative environment within the revenue management team and other departments 

Improvement & Innovation:

  • Continuously assess and improve revenue management processes and strategies

  • Implement and track the effectiveness of new initiatives and technology solutions to improve revenue outcomes

  • Lead your team of Manager(s) and Analysts to achieve revenue targets and goals, mentoring them to drive route performance in alignment with agreed strategies and goals  

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Revenue Management is a plus

  • 8+ years Experience in Airline Revenue Management, pricing, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Similar experience in Hotel, Online Travel Agent Revenue Management or related fields in the travel industry will also be considered

  • Experience working and knowledge of Indonesia Market would be advantageous

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Proficient in revenue management systems (RMS), Excel, and data analysis tools

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and to present complex data to senior leadership

  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.

  • In-depth understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and customer segmentation.

  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google suites (Sheets, Docs and Slides)

  • Prior experience in Navitaire PSS would be a strong advantage

  • Prior experience in Google BigQuery would be a strong advantage
