JOB PURPOSE

To perform monthly commission computation for Remisier, IVT and Salaried Dealers for Securities & Derivatives product. Will be involved for month end closing such as journal posting, monthly scheduled for GL accounts, remisier withholding tax submission, e-Invoicing report preparation and regulatory reporting for Bursa, SC & BNM which relevant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly commission statement for Remisier, IVT & Salaried dealer.
• Prepare yearly CP58 statement & withholding tax submission to IRB for Remisier.
• Prepare monthly report for e-Invoicing for submission to IRB.
• Review reconciliation by ensuring to tally with general ledger control account for (Incentive Rewards, WHT Tax, Remisier Commission and collateral account, Licensing advance payment, Accruals of FBR commission, Loyalty Bonus)
• Prepare & update Bursa Provision schedule to Group Finance Regulatory Reporting team for report submission.
• Prepare SC Comrep reporting (related to remisier) schedule to Group Finance Regulatory Reporting team for report submission.
• Liaises with the internal & external auditor.
• Relief duties and other ad-hoc tasks as at when being assigned by Manager.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS

• Minimum 2 -5 year of working experience in stockbroking industry.
• Well-versed in fundamental & technical analysis with knowledge in accounting double entry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of stakeholders and employees.
• Strong understanding of nature of stockbroking business.
• Possess good communication, problem solving and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word / PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines and a team player.
