Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and filing of various regulatory reports in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Will be required to handle a variety of deliverables and be able to effectively liaise with other business units.
Encompasses identifying, analyzing and escalating issues as appropriate.
To assist in the research and implementation of new and revised regulatory reporting requirements, as well as the evaluation of regulatory requirements for new products/transactions. Communicate the reporting and data needs to business partners.
Undertake ad hoc request and reporting, as requested, including participation in the regulatory reporting automation project.
Ensure ongoing cross-functional process streamlining and reporting risk control in place and comply to bank internal requirement for business continuity.
Pro-actively identify problem areas and opportunities within the Bank portfolio with processes and policy analyses to enhance profitability of the franchise.
Maintain and support credit data and data repositories. Champion enhancement of portfolio analyses and data management.
Job Requirements
Preferably in Risk Management, Portfolio Management, MIS/ Analytics
Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Statistics, or related areas
Experience in MIS or credit/risk analytics
Experience in SAS or any other statistic/data mining software
Strong analytical and technical skills including experience in programming languages i.e. SAS and knowledge in data mining, analysis and simulation
Committed in completing assignment within deadline, strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
Having knowledge of banking products-Retail/Non Retail portfolio, especially related to the Credits and Statistical knowledge will be an added advantage.
