​Job Summary:

The Senior VP/MS Modeler is responsible for analyzing the existing Virtual Product/Modelling System (VP/MS) and providing solutions for Business As Usual (BAU) and Change Request (CR) enhancements. This role involves managing deliverables according to project timelines, developing and maintaining the VP/MS model following Actuarial/Pricing requirements, and rectifying User Acceptance Test (UAT) defects reported by testers. The Senior VP/MS Modeler is also responsible for investigating production issues and providing solutions, as well as offering Unit Test (UT), Mass Unit Test (MUT), and Regression Test (RT) sign-off recommendations to Actuarial/Pricing.

Job Description:

• Analyze the existing Virtual Product/ Modelling System VP/MS and provide solution for Business-As-Usual (BAU)/Change Request (CR) enhancement.

• Manage deliverables according to project timeline.

• Develop and maintain Virtual Product/ Modelling System (VP/MS) model following requirements from Actuarial/Pricing.

• Rectify, analyze and fix User Acceptance Test (UAT) defects reported by tester.

• Responsible for production issue investigation and solution.

• Provide Unit Test (UT) / Mass Unit Test (MUT) / Regression Test (RT) sign-off recommendation to Actuarial/Pricing.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.

• Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.

• Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements.

• Establishes key project criteria metrics.

• Plans and leads status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.

• Responsible for training, managing, and motivating the project team, as well as resolving team conflicts.

• Resolves technical and operational issues as required

Job Specification

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or and above in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science or related experience

• At least 5 years of experience in of medium to large scale projects

• Demonstrate track record of team leadership and managing multiple stakeholders' expectations, including problem identification and resolution

• Certified with project management would be an advantage
