JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS AN Executive, Finance Operations

The Executive, Finance Operations is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day financial operations. This role involves ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in various financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, payment processing, and financial record-keeping.

The role plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by supporting financial transactions and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Processing and verifying invoices and payments.
Managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments.
Reconciling vendor and customer accounts.

Payment Processing:

Handling electronic and manual payment transactions.
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
Managing bank reconciliations.

Financial Record-Keeping:

Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Performing data entry and record maintenance.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing basic financial reports and summaries.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Providing support for financial audits.

Compliance and Control:

Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or irregularities.
Supporting the implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Administrative Support:

Assisting with general administrative tasks related to finance.
Responding to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in financial operations or a related role
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Skills in Financial data entry and processing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation and financial record-keeping with accounting software proficiency
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
