JOB PURPOSETo perform independent credit evaluation/assessment in respect of the credit application of commercial/SME accounts, mitigation and recommendations to enable decision-makers to formulate well-informed decisions, with the objective to satisfy borrowers’ needs and protect the Bank’s asset quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide support and work closely with Business Units in respect of enhancing credit structure and proposed terms and conditions
• To attend to various requests from business units within the agreed turnaround time.
• To monitor closely the existing loan portfolio to ensure that any early warning signals are being highlighted promptly for informed decision making and appropriate action.
• To provide necessary support in matters related to credit management infrastructure of the Bank.
• Ensure compliance of the Bank’s credit policies and applicable rules and regulations while maintaining a balance approach to promote profitable business growth and asset quality.
• Other duties to be assigned by Head of Department and/or Group Chief Credit Officer from time to time.
