The Job

Risk Governance

• Support the maintenance of ORM policy, Process & Procedures and Guideline including but not limited to Outsourcing, RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), New Product Assessment (NPA), Third Party Risk Management Guideline (TPRMG), etc. 

Operational Risk Reporting (ORR)

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to regulator(s) (i.e., BNM on loss events and specific KRIs)
• Producing operational risk reporting to management on a timely basis

Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and internal Key Risk Indicators (KRI)

• Assist in implementation and monitoring of internal RCSA and KRI submission
• Coordinate the RCSA yearly refresher review
• Collaborate closely with Business Units / Functional Units (BUFU) in monitoring the internal KRI thresholds

Outsourcing

• Assist in reviewing Outsourcing assessment
• Coordinate with Functional Unit(s) on Outsourcing periodic review
• Coordinate with Functional Unit(s) on annual outsourcing plan

Training & Awareness

• To assist in preparing and broadcasting risk awareness communication to BUFU on a periodic basis
• To assist in preparing and conducting training to BUFU on a periodic basis or as on when needed

Others

• System Admin to internal Operational Risk system
• To assist in conducting assessments for other areas (if any)

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5 years or more of relevant hands-on banking experience
• Strong technical knowledge of banking and operational risk management
• Good knowledge of related BNM (Bank Negara Malaysia)'s policy documents and guidelines
• Strong project management skills, as well as stakeholder management skills
• Has proven track record of managing change and is adaptable.
• Have good interpersonal skills and is willing to engage with stakeholders on a frequent basis and open to communication, discussions, collaborations.
• Strong analytical, positive and constructive attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Flexible and agile to support the risk management team
• Demonstrate teamwork in your day-to-day

Have technology risk knowledge and experience as part of banking experience (advantage)
