Job Description:
Process daily deposits, including verifying amounts, checking for discrepancies, and ensuring accurate entry into the banking system.
Implement and maintain deposit operations policies and procedures to comply with Bank Negara regulations.
Assist internal stakeholder such as customers services with inquiries related to customer’s deposit accounts, including transaction history, account balances, and deposit verification.
Prepare and generate regular reports on deposit volumes, trends, and other relevant metrics for management review.
Oversee the archiving of deposit records and documents in accordance with legal requirements and company policies, ensuring confidentiality and security of customer information.
Assisting with the implementation and testing of new deposit products and services.
Collaborating with other departments, such as fraud prevention and customer service, to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Collaborating with IT and other technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues impacting deposit operations.
Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to deposit operations.
Other Duties:
Back up coverage within the team
BCP exercise for both internally within the bank and externally (i.e regulatory).
Involvement of regulatory industry wide testing as and when required.
Assisting senior for projects and system UAT as and when required.
Requirements:
Proven experience working in deposit operations or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal team member.
