Continuing Airworthiness Manager
Qualificationa. Hold a valid CAAM Aircraft Maintenance License (AML)
b. Minimum 5 years of aviation experience
ResponsibilitiesManaging the MOC to ensure effective aircraft maintenance and operation with tracking and control of operational activities at base and line stations to ensure availability to aircraft for daily operation and services.
Duties1. Establish and maintain an effective administrative system within the MOC section.
2. Manage and control the department to ensure effective utilisation of the resources.
3. Ensure maintenance activities are in compliance with airworthiness rules and regulations.
4. Establish and maintain an effective 24-hour communication centre as focal point to support aircraft maintenance and operation.
5. Develop and implement systems/procedures to achieve On Time Performance and dispatch reliability targets for the company's fleet of aircraft.
6. Implement systems and procedures to capture technical delays, repetitive
defects and to prevent potential AOG situations.
7. To manage and ensure the effectiveness of the Daily Operation meeting.8. To attend On-Time Performance (OTP) and Fleet Monitoring Community (FMC) meeting
9. To follow up chronic defects with preventive and corrective action with aircraft manufacturer’s representatives and vendors.
10. Ensure effective consultation and work closely with the Technical Services to obtain technical support and approved maintenance data.
11. Advise superior on required resources requirement and staff training.12. Responsible for the management, safekeeping, updating and review of the MOC manual.
13. Responsible for the selection of maintenance organisation for the purpose of AirAsia aircraft technical handling at line stations.14. To perform any other task directed by the CAM.
