Job Description

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as MFRS, IFRS, and GAAP.

  • Prepare monthly group consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure timely submission of financial reports for group reporting purposes.

  • Prepare reconciliation from sales collections to vendor payments, particularly with Online Travel Agents (OTAs).

Audit & External Relations

  • Manage and coordinate external audits, ensuring all required documentation, reports, and processes are in place for a smooth audit process.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors, addressing queries and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes, financial systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Implement best practices and automation solutions to streamline financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.

  • Conduct regular reviews to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Provide actionable financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Job Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 - 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial reporting and consolidation.

  • Audit experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification i.e ACCA, CPA, ICAEW is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present key insights effectively.

Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
