Job Responsibilities:

Provide insights related to fixed income market to the investment team as appropriate.
Maintain credit rating, outlook, and relative value assessment of overall customer bond portfolio holdings.
Developing and enhancing the fixed income framework as part of the investment governance policy.
Maintain broad knowledge of financial markets, current events, and applicable economies and analyze their impact on industry/sector fundamentals.
Responsible for conducting research and analysis on assigned companies/industries/sectors across local and regional markets.
Provide detailed buy, sell and hold verbal and written investment opinions and recommendations to support the division in making informed investment strategy decisions.
Collaborate closely with a team of Investment Product Manager, Research & Strategist, Global Market, trader and others to provide timely updates and communicate investments recommendations on your coverage.
Act as spokesperson for the research function in client events and internal committees.
Monitor industry and competitive environment through research of market intelligence and insights to proactively identify new opportunities, trends, emerging issues or threats.
Perform other job-related duties such as fixed income project related as required.

Job Requirements:

Malaysian Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Investment/Finance or a related field
Advanced understanding of variance analysis.
Relevant experience in Wealth Management, Financial/Investment field.
Prior consulting experience will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Bloomberg and Bloomberg Excel Add-in
