JOB PURPOSETo analyze transactional data to identify, report and prevent fraudulent activities, ensuring the protection of financial assets and minimizing potential losses.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect, process, and analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to informed business decisions, specifically in detecting potential unauthorized and fraudulent transactions.
• Develop and maintain data models, Fraud Management System (FMS) parameters, dashboards, and key performance metrics to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with various units within the department to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Conduct data mining and predictive modeling to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks and validation.
• Create and present detailed reports and visualizations to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented data-driven strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in data analytics and financial services.
• Perform other related duties as instructed by supervisors and managers

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE

• Possess a Bachelor degree in Statistics / Banking / Finance or any related field.
• 2-3 years of working experience as a Fraud Analyst/Investigator/Data Analytics and knowledge in internet or mobile banking operational process would be an advantage.
• Sound analytical and investigative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good team player / committed and customer centric.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other data analytics tools.
