Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
1. Key Account Management
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with modern trade partners, including national and regional retail chains and e-commerce platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless partner experience.
- Collaborate with partners to create and execute joint business plans that drive sales and mutual growth.
2. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for modern trade accounts.
- Drive sell-in and sell-through strategies to maximize product availability and sales performance.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within modern trade channels.
3. Merchandising and Brand Visibility
- Ensure optimal product placement and visibility within partner outlets and online platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute in-store promotions, campaigns, and activations.
- Monitor competitor activities and propose strategies to strengthen the brand’s market presence.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze sales performance data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Regularly report on key account performance, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
- Forecast demand and collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
5. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to align strategies and deliver on partner expectations.
- Act as a liaison between the company and modern trade partners to ensure smooth execution of agreements and initiatives.
- Participate in contract negotiations and renewals to secure favorable terms for both parties.
