Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

You will be responsible for leading the corporate sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth within the banking and finance sector. This role requires a deep understanding of financial products and services, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients.

What are you accountable for?

  • Develop and implement Sales and Marketing strategy to enhance Maxis presence in the Banking & Finance Services industry.

  • Manage the revenue, P&L and growth to meet the annual AOP.

  • Work with internal stakeholders (product, marketing, finance, network and sales) to differentiate ourselves and enhance our competitiveness.

  • Understand the market conditions and critical success factors to have successful strategies in the segments.

  • Ensure the team is highly motivated to perform in the market place.

  • Establish good relationship with our customers to increase the share of wallet of the customers

What do you need to have for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in corporate sales within the banking and finance industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.

  • Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a similar industry - banking and finance.

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
