ACCOUNTABILITIES• Perform DR planning, development, program execution, maintenance and testing. • Manage risk, controls and compliance management, supporting BC/DR audit and examination activities, and development & maintenance of policies, standards & procedures that are aligned with BNM requirement and the best industry standards.• To coordinate with all business and support teams bank-wide in any DR related activities.• Ensure that IT DR for all critical applications have been fully documented and tested based on their respective DR cycle requirement. • Review and maintenance of disaster recovery policy, strategy, standards and processes that can be used to recover all the critical system within required time frames.• Provide periodic or ad-hoc reporting and tracking of disaster recovery related issues and remediation activities.• Coordinate with all the relevant support teams and business to be able to support the recovery objectives of the organization.• Assist Head DR in designing, coordinate and execute BCP/DR annual test exercises for critical business processes, and produce test reports including lessons learned. Coordinate follow up on lessons as requiredbased on the Post Test Report.• Review the Business Criticality Definition (BCD), recovery priorities, timelines, and strategy for proper sequence of recovery components.• Continuously (minimally yearly) review existing and proposed plans for recoverability effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.• Assist Crisis Management / Incident Management teams during service disruption events and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.• Relevant Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery certification, i.e. CBCP/ABCP or DRCS etc.• Experience in any of the following BCP framework components: o Business Resumption Planningo Crisis Management Planningo Incident Response Planningo Disaster Recovery Planningo Plan Exercising/Testingo Conducting BIAs• Financial Services/Banking industry experience is advantageous• Knowledge and experience in performing assessments aligned with the best practices• Ability to work independently, effectively manage competing demands and priorities• Ability to interact with a variety of internal and external people in a professional manner that creates confidence in his/her knowledge and abilities and helps foster mutually satisfactory resolution to control gaps and issues• Ability to build positive relationships across multiple stakeholders, senior leadership team, and department heads, etc.• Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
