• Develop and implement transformation strategies to optimise Community Banking operations.

• Align initiatives with the Division's long-term vision and business goals.

• Prioritise transformation projects based on impact, feasibility and resource requirements.

2. Project Management

• Plan, execute and monitor transformation initiatives from inception to completion.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with senior leaders and department heads to identify transformation opportunities.

• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.

• Manage change communication plans to minimize resistance and enhance adoption.

4. Process Improvement

• Analyse current processes and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.

• Design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Leverage data analytics to measure and report on the success of transformation initiatives.

5. Team Leadership

• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.

• Provide coaching, guidance, and motivation to team members.

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

6. Technology Integration

• Partner with IT and digital teams to implement technology-driven solutions.

• Evaluate new tools and systems to enhance the retail banking experience.

 7. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure transformation initiatives comply with relevant banking regulations and standards.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting retail banking.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred)

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in transformation, project management or process improvement roles.
• Experience in the retail banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of banking systems and digital transformation trends.

Leadership and Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders across all levels.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
