JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
What You'll Do:
Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers and trucks safely, following traffic laws and company policies.
Route Planning & Navigation: Plan the most efficient routes, considering road conditions, height restrictions, and traffic regulations.
Online Logbook & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to JPJ, SPAD (APAD), and other regulatory body requirements, including licensing and vehicle permits.
Emergency Handling: Respond to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies by following safety protocols and reporting incidents.
Expense Tracking: Maintain proper record of claims including parking and toll expenses.
Customer and Crew Interaction: Coordinate with the production team and logistics crew to ensure timely transportation of equipment and meeting event requirements.
Vehicle Security & Parking: Ensure the vehicle is securely parked at designated locations when not in use, preventing theft or damage.
Physical Fitness & Endurance: Ability to handle long driving hours, heavy lifting, and working in varying weather conditions and long hours.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with Puspakom inspection standards and arrange for Puspakom inspection.
REQUIREMENTS:
Who You Are:
Education and Experience: Minimum SPM or equivalent with at least 3 years of driving experience.
Licensing: Possess a Full E Driving license.
Clean driving record
Skills: Basic and practical knowledge of vehicle handling and maintenance requirements and knowledge of main routes in Klang Valley and Peninsular Malaysia
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both oral and written English and Malay.
Technology Skills: Familiarity with smartphone transport applications and basic computer software skills.
