Job Description

AirAsia X Berhad is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our Investor Relations team as an Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of corporate communications, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement in a leading airline company. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of quarterly earnings announcements, reports, and briefings to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.

• Support in the preparation and organisation of the Annual General Meeting (AGM), including coordinating documents, logistics, and shareholder communication.

• Collect and compile relevant market flow information, providing support for peer airline analysis and benchmarking.

• Assist in preparing investor presentations and reports, ensuring that they meet the standards required by internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute to the development of strategies to maintain positive investor and analyst relations through ongoing communication and support. 

Requirements:

• Strong skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the ability to process and interpret complex data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong comprehension and presentation capabilities.

• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and Microsoft Office tools; experience with financial metrics and regulatory compliance is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and proactively contribute to tasks and projects.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A keen interest in the airline industry and financial markets is a plus.
