Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

Accountabilities

  • Channel Management for Branded Partner Stores (250 MEP stores nationwide) which covers defining channel strategy, policies, dealer agreement, governance, dealer economics/incentives, dealer credit and performance management

  • Responsible for channel enablement and development for Branded Partners to deliver well-differentiated customer experience and maximise value creation

  • Transform the channel operating model for Branded Partners (as a hunting channel) which includes but not limited to incentive restructure, device supply model, modernised stores, tools, culture and elevated operating standards.

  • Custodian for expansion for branded partner stores (MEP & MEP Lite formats) and in charge of appointment of new partners and development in line with company’s growth ambitions in terms of postpaid and converged sales.

  • Programme development and roll-out in order to enhance the capabilities of the branded partner channel (Eg: Outbound, In-store, Devices)

  • Development of Maxis’ shop-in-shop channels via strategic partners/retailers and governance of the operating model and performance (300-400 stores)

  • SPOC for Enterprise business across Branded channels which cut across all segments (SME, Government, Corporate) and responsible for programme management for SME Relationship Managers and MEP channel.

  • Ambassador for Maxis values and obsessed with customer experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • You have 15 years of experience in channel management, business development, or sales management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

  • Proven experience in defining and implementing channel strategy, policies, and governance.

  • Strong analytical skills to manage dealer economics, incentives, and performance.

  • Ability to transform channel operating models, including incentive restructuring and modernizing stores.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various internal stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
