Protection and Resilience Specialist
The Protection and Resilience Specialist will support the implementation of P&R standards and guidelines, assist in monitoring and reporting P&R performance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in business continuity, business resilience and outsourcing. This role also involves liaising with Allianz Technology and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within Allianz Insurance Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of P&R in the implementation of Protection & Resilience (P&R) standards, functional rules, and guidelines at the Operating Entity (OE) level.
- Partner with business owners to ensure adherence to outsourcing requirements.
- Ensure site security management is fully compliant with Allianz standards.
- Oversee and execute all phases of the BCM lifecycle.
- Coordinate and track action plans to ensure the effective deployment of P&R monitoring and reporting systems.
- Maintain and regularly update P&R documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and prepare materials for meetings, accurately record and distribute minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Provide regular progress updates to the regional office on the status of current activities.
- Keep Senior Management informed of critical developments and actions required to meet P&R objectives.
- Support the annual self-assessment, including data collection, outcome presentation, and tracking follow-up actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Align with regional and OE expert functions to monitor and develop the P&R framework, incorporating new requirements and controls.
- Design and conduct targeted training sessions for various P&R domains as needed.
- Support the implementation of new projects under the P&R framework.
- Monitor project progress and provide guidance to achieve successful implementation.
- Foster a culture of best practice sharing, standardization, and collaboration across Allianz Asia Pacific to enhance P&R effectiveness.
Experience
- At least two years’ experience in Business Continuity Management, including risk assessment, and implementation.
- Experience in managing outsourcing practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of Protection & Resilience principles and practices.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges and environments.
