Key Responsibilities

Group Consumer Banking Performance Reporting For Asset Products

  • Preparation of business performance report, forecast, annual budget, strategic plan and scorecard for business
  • Assist in expense management, including accruals, review of cost reports and provide variance analysis for business
  • Perform financial simulation and modeling, product pricing and profitable analysis
  • Handle any ad-hoc finance related projects or assignment.
  • Preparation of monthly business performance report of the Group Consumer Banking for submission to senior management.
  • Compilation of monthly forecast, provide analysis to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Implementation of new management reporting system and process.
  • Involve in periodical cost allocation and Service Level Agreements review, streamline the cost allocation and cross-charge process and reporting.
  • Cost center maintenance.

Budget / Analytical Support

  • Involve in annual budget compilation, including expenses and New Investment Agenda (NIA).
  • Provide analytic support to Business Unit.
  • Any other assignments as and when required.

Others

  • Sales commission amortization and EIR process
  • Participate and contribute in bank wide lead projects related to GCB management reporting as well as GCB led process improvement projects

Requirements

Skills                

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong logical and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills; and people management at regional level
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills with a strategic and tactical mindset.
  • Possess the specialized skill sets to perform the key responsibilities.

Knowledge

  • Competitive, energetic and resourceful with ability to think ‘out of the box’.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision under pressure.
  • Good understanding of the banking systems and processes.

Experience

  • At least 7 years working experience in finance, management reporting and financial analysis
  • Bachelor Degree or professional qualification in accounting
